In short:

  • We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it. If you use our contact form, sign up for email updates, or make a comment on the site, we will need certain personal information.
  • We use your personal information only for providing and improving the Site and for providing opt-in communications.
  • We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products and services, or protect our rights. We don’t share or sell your information to third-party marketers.

Information Collection and Use

While using our Site, we may ask you to provide us with certain personal information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personal information may include, but is not limited to, your name and email address.

The amount and type of information that RHC gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who comment on blog posts to provide a real name and email address. For those who wish to receive additional information via email, we collect an email address. RHC does not disclose personal information other than as described below. Site visitors can always refuse to supply personal information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

The Site also collects potentially personally identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, for example, for users leaving comments on blog posts. RHC only discloses IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personal information as described below, except that blog commenter IP addresses may be visible and disclosed to the administrator of the blog where the comment was left.

Like most website operators, RHC collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Our purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how visitors use our Site.

Aggregated Statistics

RHC may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its Site. For instance, it may use spam screened by the Akismet service to help identify spam. RHC may provide this information to others to improve site performance. However, RHC does not disclose personal information other than as described below.

Protection of Certain Personal Information

RHC discloses potentially personally identifying and personal information only to individuals and organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on RHC’s behalf or to provide services available on this Site and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those individuals and organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using this Site, you consent to the transfer of such information to them.

RHC will not rent or sell potentially personally identifying or personal information to anyone.

Other than to the individuals and organizations described above, RHC discloses potentially personally identifying and personal information only in response to a subpoena, court order, or other governmental request, or when RHC believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of RHC, third parties, or the public at large.

If you have supplied your email address to RHC or any of its representatives through this Site or through any other means, RHC may occasionally send you an email with updates, marketing for RHC products or services, or to solicit your feedback. If you send us a request (for example, via email or contact form), we reserve the right to share it with contractors or service partners in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users.

RHC takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction of potentially personally identifying and personal information.

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns.
